MagicBooking on-line booking System for Breakfast/After School Club and Playscheme

We are pleased to introduce our booking system – Magicbooking - that we use for all bookings for After School Club, Breakfast Club and the holiday playschemes.


How to join: As soon as your child has joined the school, your details will automatically transfer to the system, and the email address that is associated with the main contact for your child, will be the ‘username’ that you need to log in.

NB: it is very important that you do not set up a new account for yourself/your child, as this creates duplicate accounts in MagicBooking, which can then cause issues with bookings and payments.

Logging in: When first logging in, when you get to the login page, simply click on the ‘Forgotten Password’ link to reset your password, then complete the necessary forms for each of your children (you will only need to do this once). (As above, please do not click on ‘create an account’).

Making bookings: Once registration is complete, you can book (and cancel) childcare sessions.  You can book from any mobile device as well as from a PC (although please note that it is quite tricky to cancel sessions on a mobile phone, so you may need to defer to a PC, or call the school office).

You will be prompted to read and accept our Terms & Conditions before completing your booking.

Timeframes: You can book ASC up until 12pm on the same day, and cancel it up until 11am. BC can be booked/cancelled up until 7am on the same day. Playscheme can be booked up until 5 days before the holidays, but cancellations can only be made via the school office.

Payment: The system is a pre-payment system, so you do need to pay for the sessions at the time of booking. You can pay by debit/credit card or by Childcare Vouchers (CVs) / TaxFree Childcare, and you should use your child’s name and the booking reference as the payment reference. An instalment plan is also available if you are booking more than 34 days in advance, in which case you will be notified by email 7 days before the next instalment is due. 

NB: whilst the system will permit you to make one booking with the promise of payment via instalment or CVs, you will not be permitted to make any additional/adhoc bookings once your account is in arrears.

Top Tips:

  • When making a voucher payment please note that it can take 5 working days for the money to arrive in our bank account and it is not until this point that the payment will be applied to your account (by a member of office staff). It is therefore recommended that you ‘overpay’ if at all possible, so that your account always remains in credit, giving you the flexibility to book/cancel sessions at short notice. NB: you do not have to pay the exact amount owed, you can pay a lump sum into your MB account, which saves you from having to make lots of small individual payments.
  • Payments (and the resulting statement) are associated with the parent/carer, not the child. Therefore if you have more than one child, you don't have to make seperate payments per child. You can pay one amount, and that will be allocated against any o/s monies held against the parent/carer account.
